Sync Site Web Server reboot

The primary web server hosting the sync web sites had to be rebooted today @09:14 GMT-5 to address a stability and performance issue.

Sync Database Format

As of November 20, 2012 @ 23:00 GMT -5, the database backups available on the Sync site are now SQL Server 2008R2.  In order to use the database with a SQL Server 2008 instance, the database will need to be restored to a 2008R2 instance and then the data exported to a 2008 instance.  We are working on a feature that will be available within the Sync site to automate the process of obtaining a backup in the older 2008 format.

Database Server Migration

The sync site's database server was migrated to a new more powerful platform that will allow for more capacity and better database performance.
